In the midst of cabin fever, etc., I opened a folder on the old hard drive and found…birdseye.
I was unaware that ‘birds eye’ was even possible in pine. As always, I enjoy the reveal that occurs every time wood gets wet. The vibrance and lushness is unbeatable.
This was a happy discovery based on lumberyard pine. Sometimes I look and find on purpose. Other times I stumble across it, with no effort at all and am rewarded in a serendipitous way.
Love that word.
